i just paid some money to fasttvdownloads.com so i could get a couple of american shows downloaded, but its utorrent and i haven't a clue what to do, even when i have followed the instructions it still takes ages to download an episode also is it really full of viruses (torrent files) even when i've paid money to download?

well the episodes are probably about 20 minutes long even w\o commercials so i would think it would take a while, especially some of the poorer quality videos, and yes it may still have viruses, trojans, keyloggers, etc. so i'd be careful and sweep your computer after downloading an episode, that may also be why it is taking so long to download, it might be downloading a few 'extra' items to your computer.

keep utorrent, and go to isohunt.com
you download a torrent file, and open the torrent file in utorrent. Isohunt.com will let you download the torrent file
You shouldn't pay money for TV torrents. TV torrents are technically illegal and anyone asking for money to download them is trying to scam you.
