Pony Question ...Shows....?

Would it look okay if a 5' 4" skinny 13 year old girl shows a medium and large pony at WEF or Ponyfinals, since it's not based on the rider?

If you fit the horse then fine. I know lots of girls your height that show medium pony (or large pony). I think it would look fine as long as your feet don't hang down too low. I would say five inches at the most that they should hang down. Otherwise I think it looks odd, lol. And you are right, it is not based on the rider but rather how your horse is showed. I think you will be on the clear. Talk to your trainer too, She/He will be able to tell you!

As long as the legs aren't tragging on the ground, and if her legs are bent too much, it should be fine.

It doesn't depend on the rider, but the rider has to be able to give commands effectively, so if their legs are crunched, they won't be able to. And if they don't look right together, she will overpower the horse, so it won't look as well.
I've seen 6'1 adults bring a 13.3 hh pony to shows before. You may look and feel silly compared to everyone else but who cares? Make sure that your tack fits you.....like the first answerer said.....you should be fine as long as your legs arent dragging on the ground.
